My first project is to re-establish contact with some of my friends back in England whom I have sadly neglected.

My second project is a slightly ambitious one which will require quite a number of art models and some concerted planning. It will probably take 4 months to complete.

If you are an art model in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas or Oklahoma and would like to be a part of it then send me a note here with stats, email address and a link to your work. 2008 will see a lot of changes for me both personally and photographically.

For a start it is still uncertain where I will be living and what job I will be working. I would love to make a living from my photography and I will still endeavor to do so, however the opportunities to do the work I love are few and far between here in Shreveport and so I will simply have to fight for the scraps that are out there. In the meantime I will be trying to get my foot in the door with film production companies, local bands and actors/actresses. If I get really desperate I might even try and get an assistants job with another established photographer. (Puppies, kids, weddings, seniors, bleuch!!!!)

If I am to head in that direction then I need to raise my standards with the non-nude work. I have set plans in motion to meet and shoot some local models in January/February and after Christmas I intend to hit the streets to shoot some stock images and try to raise my standard of photography in that area too. As soon as I can afford to renew my domain name I will re-design my website to reflect this change of emphasis.

The nude/glamor work will sadly have to take a back seat. The lack of any suitable models in this area makes that pretty easy to accomplish. (I was that desperate I even considered shooting nude self-portraits. You'll be pleased to know I decided against it.) This doesn't mean I won't be shooting any, but it does mean I won't be actively pursuing the work. Anyone who'd like to work with me on a TFCD basis won't get turned away.
